Ahmedabad-based IT firm ArMee Infotech has opened its initial public offering (IPO) today, aiming to raise ₹10.8 crore on the NSE's SME platform. The subscription window for the public issue is scheduled to close on May 9.
The offering consists entirely of a fresh issue of 2,400,000 equity shares at a fixed price of ₹45 per share. The company has structured the IPO with a minimum lot size of 3,000 shares, translating to a minimum investment of ₹135,000 for retail investors. According to the company's filings, the net proceeds from the public listing are designated to meet its working capital requirements, a critical component for businesses involved in hardware and software distribution.
ArMee Infotech operates as a distributor and reseller of IT hardware and software products. Its portfolio includes laptops, desktops, and servers, alongside software solutions from major vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, and Symantec. The firm also provides a range of IT services, including networking, security, cloud solutions, and data management, catering to a diverse client base.
The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹1.01 crore on revenue of ₹37.56 crore for the fiscal year ending March 2023. For the period ending November 30, 2023, ArMee Infotech recorded a PAT of ₹47 lakhs on revenue of ₹15.82 crore. The deployment of IPO funds into working capital will be crucial for managing inventory and scaling operations to drive future revenue growth.
Following the closure of the subscription period, the basis of allotment is expected to be finalized on May 10. The shares of ArMee Infotech are anticipated to be listed on the NSE SME platform on May 14. Finshore Management Services is acting as the lead manager for the issue, with Bigshare Services serving as the registrar.
