Srivari Spices and Foods Ltd., also known as SS Retail, began trading on the National Stock Exchange's SME platform with a notable premium, rewarding investors on its first day. The stock’s performance aligned with pre-listing market expectations, which had signaled a gain of approximately 35% over its issue price of ₹42 per share.
The company's initial public offering (IPO) generated exceptional interest from the market, achieving an overall subscription of 450 times. Demand was robust across all investor categories. Sentiment in the grey market, an unofficial barometer for listing performance, proved accurate. The grey market premium (GMP) for Srivari Spices shares stood at ₹15 ahead of the listing. The company operates two manufacturing facilities located near Hyderabad. The ₹9 crore raised through the public offering is earmarked for specific corporate objectives.
